They will operate the AM station as time permits but it was primarily set
up for visitors who would like to operate a vintage AM station when they
visit W1AW. It also provides visitors a look back to the type of
equipment that was used by the "average" ham of the 50's. AM
International has a printed brochure available. I believe brochures
are/will be available at W1AW and W1AW received a Certificate of
Membership to AM International when the equipment was installed.

Aspiring AM hams can also join here or go to http://www.amfone.net or
http://www.amwindow.org/ to get a lot of information. And most AM'ers
will gladly "elmer" an aspiring new or "seasoned" ham in the art of AM
operation.
