Don't believe the specs on the 837.
I had one of those P&H linears with four 837s and two 816s.
They will put out plenty of power. It was rated for 
800W p.e.p. input and would do it. Don't try that with 807s.
Oh you could... I am just saying that the 837 is a 
very decent power tube!
