Solution to the random dialout issue depends on
whether the vulnerable phone actually makes and breaks
See if you can dial someone and have them listen to
the call while you're transmitting. If it hangs up,
there's probably some inductive kick that can tickle
the innards of the phone, causing contact bounce. If
the bounce takes place rapidly enough, it can "pulse"
dial a phone line.
