And they make the audio sound like crap.  That's the main reason the stock 
Globe King 500 audio is so restricted.  Better to use conventional descrete 
plate and grid resistors and coupling caps.  You can control the frequency 
response by the values of resistance and capacitance.  The best way to 
improve Globe King audio is to get rid of the couplettes.
