[AMRadio] Vacuum or electronic relay

Brian have you considered using a solid state relay?  Omron 
makes some, check the Mouser catalog.  No contact arcing, 
and some have internal snubbers.  Otherwise a contactor 
available from a local electrical supply house might work.
