Hi All,

   I was looking in BAMA for a GE Ham news bulletin Jan-Feb 1960 and I found
what I was looking for. They compare the 6L6GB with the 6L6GC with each
dissipating 80 watts! A side by side picture is on page 7. Check it out:

Maybe the 5 ply plate, and upgraded screen made it into the late ECG 6BG6's?

Could be legit.   The "GA" tubes he he's selling sure don't look like the
run-of-the-mill 6BG6's.   His test not vety scientific but ordinary 6L6,
6BG6,
807, etc. examples would get red in the face under such treatment.
