Hunt around in the "junk" boxes for 1N60s.
They have ALSO been used for the VSWR bridges. I've run them on mt
"Tall Ships" with NO loss of life.
They can even be found in 'old' "Chicken Band" VSWR/Sig Strength meters
by Vanco and the like.
