A D-104 can work OK, or you could make your own mic using one of the
inexpensive Kobitone elements from Mouser.

Subject: [AMRadio] Mic for a Heathkit DX-100

Does anyone have a suggestion for a hand mic that will work well on an
old
Heath DX-100 transmitter? I would appreciate any suggestions.
