I have successfully repaired a Swan WM2000 meter with a similar failure, the rear coil became detached. It takes a steady hand for sure and you will never realize how big the end of you smallest soldering iron is until you try to use it to make that connection. Hopefully one end of the spring is still attached, if it is a 2 spring meter, look at the good one to see if the detached one needs to be wound more than just turning to reattach to the armature. Great up close vision or a magnifier, and tweezers, which are the only tool that will do the job are needed. Melt a small bit of solder to the stationary point, use the tweezers to position the end of the coil, and touch the solder iron to it, remove, hold stock still until cool. Don't worry too much about perfection in alignment, a little off does not seem to matter, just don't over due the tension. Check the full scale reading by applying the meters rated movement milliamps. Good luck.
