[AMRadio] Large Solar Flare

Ha! Ya know, the one day I wanted to demo an old Shortwave radio and there wasn't much to be heard... figures. Luckily I have a little mini-AM transmitter based off of a 1mhz oscillator package that is just the ticket. Plus I like to use it to listen to old time radio shows on the Zenith Shutter dial.

I wonder how many satellites just got a bit toasted?

Subject: [AMRadio] Large Solar Flare

Yesterday a large solar flare interrupted HF communications.

That region will rotate out of Earth's sight soon.

I've only been able to receive, as the Shack still isn't up to snuff.

I really want to get the T-213 up and going as soon as I can. It's a bit
of a dispute between the XYL and I.

I'm tired of her futzing around with the Den/Shack!
