[AMRadio] reistor needed

I must be missing something. Cutting into a resistor will raise the 
resistance, not lower it.

If you have a 10 ohm 2 W, parallel it with a 100 ohm (which can be 1/2 
or even 1/4 watt since most of the power will be dissipated in the 10 ohm).
