Since mid-day Wednesday, January 27th, WSTC 1400 Stamford and WNLK 1350 Norwalk have been broadcasting a simulcast of random 50s, 60s and 70s music. The only announcement you will hear is a top-of-hour lady's voice legal ID over-riding the music. It sounds like a very random iTunes shuffle. You'll hear some very interesting segues like Wooly Bully into Jesus Christ Superstar. Wednesday afternoon I heard a bizarre Smurfs song air for about a minute. It must have been intolerable at the station, too. Someone abruptly advanced the playlist to Anne Murray's 'Snowbird.' Quite a few Elvis classics are played. This suggests they are keeping the fireplace warm to encourage potential new owners. It really is 'all music - all the time' at least for the moment.
