I have PM-23 units both with and without the plastic "h" on the front chrome grill as Dachis describes. However, I also have a couple of speakers which have what appears to be gray porcelain grills instead of chrome. Porcelain may not be the correct material but it displays a resemblance to porcelain. Dachis makes no mention of this. Anyone know the scoop? When, why or whatever. I have never seen one of these with the "h". I suspect these may have been made during WWII when chrome was not generally available for public use like on vehicles. Because these items are not common nor something you see on eBay very often I have no idea of their current value. Although they have not been powered on in years, they are in excellent condition. One, I can't remember if it's the HA-2 or HA-6, I would consider to be museum quality. Any information you might provide will greatly helpful. Although I typically sell on ebay I am not dead set on that. Thank you for your time. (not an "A") Radio works splendidly, but I would like to finish it. Worst case, I'll just have a piece of sheet metal cut and add the holes later, but if there's a drawing or print avail, that'd be terrific. A tape measure is in them so you can scale as wanted. I'll att. them to this which should come thru to you, but not to the list. If anyone else wants them, reply to me (not the list). 73, Al, W8UT www.boatanchors.org www.hammarlund.info "There is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats" Ratty, to Mole On 1/11/2017 11:11 AM, radio wrote: > Does anybody out there have a template for the bottom cover of an SX-28? > (not an "A") Radio works splendidly, but I would like to finish it. > Worst case, I'll just have a piece of sheet metal cut and add the holes > later, but if there's a drawing or print avail, that'd be terrific. > Tom - W0EAJ > ______________________________________________________________ From holden7471 at msn.com Mon Jan 23 02:06:29 2017 From: holden7471 at msn.com (howard holden) Date: Mon, 23 Jan 2017 07:06:29 +0000 Subject: [Hallicrafters] Winter 2017 Classic Exchange CW Message-ID: The CW CX will run from 1400 UTC January 29 to 0800 UTC January 30, 2017 (9 AM Eastern Time on Sunday to 3 AM Eastern Time Monday) AND From 1400 UTC January 31 to 0800 UTC February, 1, 2017 (9 AM Eastern Time on Tuesday to 3 AM Eastern Time Wednesday) Suggested Frequencies -- plus/minus QRM Listen up and down 5 to 10 Kc for crystal controlled stations 1.810 mc 3.545 mc 7.045 mc 14.045 mc. 21.045 mc 28.045 mc. 50.100 mc. 144.100 mc.
