Larry,
I have two sovitech 811a,s that are round (thin) that I bought
new, but never used except to test them.

I will trade for 2 used 812a,s that work ok, as I have lots of
811a,s but not so many 812a,s for the rf deck.

If you want to go nuts, 572b,s may also fit!

I would think a pair of kt90,s would do very well...hi fi tube,
and you can run it in AB1...
I think they are also tall and thin...

Hi,

Anybody have any "cylindrical" 811A's they are willing to part with? The
envelope looks like a small 805. I have one of these, but need at least
one (preferable a few) more.

I have some of the much more common "shouldered" type for trade, also
812A's and other stuff. Also would pay cash if that is prefered & the
price is reasonable.

Why do I want these? I want to try 811A's for modulators in my "hotrod"
Viking I, and the spacing between sockets is too close to accomodate the
"shouldered" envelopes (they bump into each other). Am now running
tride-connected 6146's and they don't have quite enough headroom.

Thanks,
-Larry/NE1S
