The Nets!
WELCOME TO THE
HALLIGAN'S HALLICRAFTERS INTERNATIONAL RADIO NETS
The purpose for our Amateur Radio Nets is to encourage, promote
and enjoy the wonderful equipment William Halligan Sr. gave us
that still goes glow in the dark. However, it is not mandatory
for a person wishing to check in to be using all, or even partly,
Hallicrafters equipment. We invite all lovers of the older tube
type equipment to join with us for fellowship, friendship and the
proverbial swapping of radio lies. Eat your hearts out fishermen.
We occasionally Net a whopper also.
If you do not have any older tube type gear, you may still join
us with modern solid state gear. Just do not confess to using it!
(grin)
The HHI Net is so structured as to cover a wide variety of topics.
You may ask a technical question, sell a piece of tube type
equipment (Sorry - this is not a general buy/sell Net for all
types of gear.), voice a request for a schematic or manual that
you need, request contacts by those having a particular piece of
gear to sell that you wish to purchase, share material you have
discovered that is useful to others in the hobby or just tell us
what the weather is like in Hawaii and how gorgeous the women
look with bronze tans in those colorful bikinis. Most importantly,
we are here to share with you, so please share with us too.
